Join us as we start a new restoration project at Girard Lake Park. This Spring and Summer we will be focused on buckthorn and honeysuckle cutting and piling, branches and log piling, invasive plant pulling (e.g. garlic mustard), and native planting on steep slope areas to address erosion and begin restoration of an oak savannah. Gloves encouraged, tools provided. Meet on the east trail by the bottom of the stairs.
